Reevaluating Schedule
Copyright 2023 © by Jim Potter
Hello Gina,
It’s time for me to admit to you that I need a change of schedule on publishing Kudzus’ Guide to Law Enforcement.
I apologize to you for asking you to fit my book into your busy work schedule and then delaying sending you a final draft so you can begin blocking, etc.
I’m working hard at it but when I reread it, I keep finding improvements or edits to make.
I know I’m close, but I can’t give you a time frame. Today, I called Marilyn Bolton and asked if she would also read it since she’s good at finding grammatical errors. Marilyn said she’d be happy to read it and that she can devote time to it on spring break which begins March 13th.
Gina, I know this will really mess with your scheduling, but I’m ready to abandon any artificial deadline. Forget June 1st. It’s a work in progress.
We’ll get it done as soon as we can get it done.
Fortunately, I have the two best people in the world working with me on this important project: you and Alex.
Please let me know how this change will work for you.
Again, my apologies.
Sincerely, Jim

Hi Jim!
Please do whatever you need to do, in whatever timeline is best for you. I am always willing to go with the flow.
So let’s do a little projection on timeline… (Details not included in this blog post.)
So, no apologies! I believe we have plenty of time to still be on track for June 1.
Thanks!! Gina
